Branch Line. Phantom 2 Vision camera quadcopter & the Cholsey & Wallingford Railway

January 29, 2014

Took my DJI Phantom 2 Vision out for a couple of flights along the preserved Cholsey & Wallingford Railway (and yes, it was a non-running day!). I was flying either side of the road along the footpath from St Mary’s church. The sky was flat overcast and the footage I took was a bit grey with very little contrast because of it. So I decided to experiment by going with black & white. I think it would have been better if I had found more old railway buildings or other bits to film, and I found this one difficult to edit.

All buildings were under my control for the purposes of the Air Navigation Order, aircraft was launched from and recovered to public land.
