This little action camera is really rather good for the price. Lots of features, lots of accessories and a built-in screen. Here’s a review and sample footage – is it worth the $91 / £59 it only costs?
These are branded in various ways, or not at all. This one was bought from Chinese retailer tmart.com as this was the cheapest price I found, and I’ve had good experiences buying from them recently. Here’s a link to the one on review: http://www.tmart.com/sl/53fb8c9dceb30 The price has dropped (again) since I bought it by a couple of pounds. These do ship from both their US and UK warehouses, so the usual 2 to 3 week wait for the free delivery is cut to 2-3 days. As ever, shop around as they are available on Amazon and elsewhere and occasionally these major retailers can offer them with reasonable discounts bringing the price closer to Chinese vendors.
Pros: Rear screen with easy to navigate menu; lots of settings; loads of accessories all compatible with GoPro; picture quality for the price is excellent; when in the waterproof case the unit floats.
Cons: Maxes out at 1080p/30; Deeper than a GoPro so won’t fit in anything (including gimbals) designed purely to fit a GoPro with no adjustment (e.g. Zenmuse).

My “On the Kitchen Table” videos are mainly aimed at newcomers to multirotors, quadcopters, drones and UAVs, particularly to the DJI product range, and the Phantom line in particular. I have how to’s, product reviews, tips, tricks, hints and information for beginners and those in the early stages of the hobby. I film “on the kitchen table” to show people that, like me, you don’t need a workshop and an array of specialist equipment and years of experience to get started and progress with flying these amazing aircraft and enjoying making great aerial videos and stills. So if you have bought, or are thinking of buying, a DJI Phantom, Phantom FC40, Phantom 2, Phantom 2 Vision or Vision+ or Plus, or even building your own DJI Flamewheel F450 or F550, we can do it… on the kitchen table!
