November 26, 2015 | Black Friday comes a day early it seems if you’re in the market for a Phantom 3 Professional or a Phantom 3 Standard, with up to 25% off at the DJI store… Not quite so generous for us UK types (max of 17% off) but still fairly solid discounts if you’re in the market for what’s on sale…

My “On the Kitchen Table” videos are mainly aimed at newcomers to multirotors, quadcopters, drones and UAVs, particularly to the DJI product range, and the Phantom line in particular. I have how to’s, product reviews, tips, tricks, hints and information for beginners and those in the early stages of the hobby. I film “on the kitchen table” to show people that, like me, you don’t need a workshop and an array of specialist equipment and years of experience to get started and progress with flying these amazing aircraft and enjoying making great aerial videos and stills. So if you have bought, or are thinking of buying, a DJI Pahntom 3, Pahntom 2, Phantom 2 Vision or Vision+ or Plus, Inspire 1 or even building your own DJI Flamewheel F450 or F550, or considering the Lily, 3DR Solo, Yuneec or more then you can do it… on the kitchen table!

Simon, I ordered my P3 Pro from DJI, first thing on “Black Friday “. The delivery time quoted was 1-2 business day after payment clearance , the payment cleared straight away, so I’ ve been expecting a courier tracking number. I realise it’s only Tuesday evening and I’m being a “little” impatient, but you made a comment in you’re Black Friday video, about people letting you know when they take delivery and it would be nice if they arrived in time for Christmas. Was that just an off the cuff remark? Or do you have experienced long delivery times from DJI.?

Not off the cuff, I’ve actually previously had excellent experiences of DJI direct delivery. My point was if lots of people took advantage I wondered if they could cope with the volumes as well and be able to process them all in time for Xmas… (Oh and sorry for delay in replying, this place gets so much spam it’s taken me this long to wade through all 280 messages to find your one genuine one!)
